Prompt 4 — Hansel & Gretel

This cover is perhaps the favorite of my illustrations for #vintagebookweek23 — I just can’t believe that it’s over now! 😭 However, I’m already so excited about digging out my vintage book collection to redraw more covers and spreads soon!

This challenge has been so much fun and it’s been so lovely seeing the work of the amazing IG artist community as well as that of the talented hosts — I’ve loved getting to know you all a little more this week!

I recently switched over to Procreate from Adobe Fresco to give the competition a try! I’m still getting used to the UI and learning the brushes. This was my first illustration in Procreate, but I think I’ve made some improvements over the past few days of using it!

I’m curious now…which software do you use and why do you prefer it — Procreate or Adobe Fresco?
